Every Donation Counts

Dr. Greg Krivchenia is giving back to the community.

Greg initiated the Mid-Ohio Valley Aquatic Center project after recognizing the urgent need for a safe, accessible indoor pool in the region. Drawing on his background as a lifelong swimmer and orthopedic surgeon, he champions a facility that will provide water safety education, competitive swim opportunities, and health benefits for all ages. His leadership and early commitment helped launch MOVAC and guide its long-term vision.

Background

Remember when...

Madam Butterfly

Kayla Stewart

Remember when the pool felt like your second home—those after-school hours at the YMCA, racing friends, and laughing until your cheeks hurt? For Kayla Stewart, that’s where a four-year-old Marietta Marlin became an 18-year competitive swimmer—and it’s also where she learned what a community can build when it believes in its kids.

Now that the pool is gone, families are driving out of town just to practice or skipping swim lessons entirely.

We’re raising funds to bring that feeling back with a new Mid-Ohio Valley Aquatic Center.
